The Government recently issued latest draft proposals on the Maths Programme of Study, the final version of which will come into play in September 2013. In this they suggest that tables should be learned up to 12, rather than the usual 10. We are not quite sure of the valid reasoning behind this but we have begun to publish some further resources based on this. Our latest sets of worksheets are to be found in the Year 3 category, under multiplication and include plenty of practice with the three times table up to 12 as well as further work on 2x, 5x, 10x tables. We have also published some extra pages to help with the 4x table.
