What's New: Multiples of 2, 5 and 10
Here we have a great set of maths worksheets on multiples of 2, 5 and 10. Learning tables can be made much easier if children can recognise some of the facts about multiples.
The multiples of 2 always end in 0, 2, 4, 6 or 8. Any other number is not a multiple of two and cannot be found in the two times table answers.
Multiples of 10 always end in 0. Which makes the ten times table the easiest to learn off by heart: but make sure children understand simple place value eg that the 3 in 30 is 3 tens and that they are happy counting up in tens.
Multiples of 5 end in 5 or 10, which again makes this an easy table to learn.
