Setting up a little shop and buying and selling things has always been a great part of early maths, but usually this activity is limited to adding up and giving change. It can be used equally well to reinforce multiplication skills, as these four worksheets show. Continuing with our series on multiplication these pages use a baker's shop to buy biscuits cakes and buns. Make sure your child has some knowledge of their 2x, 5x and 10x tables as well as being able to count up in twos, fives and tens before trying these pages.
