Calculator Game: 2x table
This is the first in a series of 2 player calculator games which help with reinforcing knowledge of tables.
You will need the grid, a calculator and two sets of coloured counters or cubes.
Take turns to choose a number in the grid and say out loud what number you have chosen. Then enter a number on the calculator and times it by two to produce the number stated. If it is correct place a counter on the square. If incorrect no counter is placed.
The calculator can be made into a 'times 2' machine: instructions on the sheet.
The winner is the first player to put 4 counters in a row, in any direction, including diagonally.
