As we get into the new term we have another set of resources for busy teachers and parents to support their children with the maths done in school. Worksheets this week include pages on: completing addition number sentences magic square challenge finding half of numbers and half of shapes sharing equally and deriving and recalling multiplication facts for the 5x table. There is also a mini investigation on making 4 sided shapes as well as our usual 40 mental arithmetic questions. Children will often need a great deal of support with the mental arithmetic questions, and to begin with, plenty of time to answer.
