Week 14 is all about counting and calculating. As well as the usual 40 mental arithmetic questions we have a nice little challenge which looks at how many different sweets can be bought with 10p. There are also furtheryear 2 maths resources on: using an abacus to show understanding of place value with hundreds, tens and units understanding the value of digits with hundreds, tens and units completing addition number sentences understand subtraction as the inverse of addition understand division as the inverse of multiplication practising dividing by 10 and a great little game (three in a row) to help with recall of adding two single digit numbers and 2-digit multiples of 10.
