In year 2, children will be used to reading scales where every mark is numbered and they go up in ones. However, they are also expected to read scales which go up in fives or tens and where not all the marks are numbered. This is much trickier but is an important skill in real life. This set of worksheets looks at reading the amounts on a cylinder where the scale goes up in tens. On the second page the scale is numbered slightly differently.
