This week we publish the last of our resources for Block B of the Primary Framework for Mathematics. Very similar to weeks 27 and 28, this week reinforces a number of important concepts first introduced earlier. They include: working logically to find ways of making 20 using three even numbers use knowledge of partitioning to add and subtract solve word problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division place value with 3-digit numbers recalling multiplication facts with 2x, 5x and 10x tables checking answers by adding in a different order If your children have problems with any of these pages it would be worthwhile going to the main categories and going over earlier steps and finding similar tasks that they do understand. This might mean looking at the Year 1 resources. (For instance, there is little point in trying to read and write 3-digit numbers if children are not secure in their knowledge of 2-digit numbers.
