This week we have a great set of resources concentrating on Handling Data and Measurement. It is difficult to track down good resources for interpreting maps and reading scales, but here they are!  We also include pages on measuring using centimetres. There are many practical opportunities for this, using a centimetre ruler or a tape measure; make sure that inches are not used by mistake! We also have some more scales to read where the marked divisions are only numbered in fives. A page I particularly like is the Weather Chart for March.  This introduces the idea of a key to show information and on the next page this information can be converted into a tally chart and graph.
