Christmas Maths Worksheets
As the Autumn term draws to an end teachers and children begin to think about Christmas activities. With Carols to be learned, Christmas Plays to be practised, rooms to be decorated, parties to be arranged etc., this is an incredibly busy time. On top of this there are parents’ evenings etc. which often come up around this time of year.
Concentrating on maths can prove to be tricky at this time of year, so we have just published a great selection of maths worksheets, all with a festive Christmas theme, to help.
For the youngest children we have some fun ‘counting stockings and hats’, together with halving small numbers with Christmas illustrations.
Christmas is usually an expensive time of year and this is reflected in our special Christmas shopping pages. They range in difficulty from counting in 10ps when buying one or two tree decorations to finding change from £2 or from £10 after buying a selection of Christmas goodies.
If you prefer some investigation challenges, then why not try our Christmas Tree Stars, Christmas Tree Addition or Snowflake Number pages.
All these can be found in our Further Resources/Special Occasions category, well worth a visit when events of the year approach.
