Putting amounts of money in order
Here is another set of worksheets to add to our growing selection of pages on money for Year 2. By the end of year 2 children should be confident with comparing 2-digit numbers and say which is larger/smaller. This set of worksheets takes this a step further by asking them to compare four 2-digit numbers and place them in order, starting with the smallest.
The best approach to this type of question is to look firstly for the smallest amount, find it and immediately place it in the answer row. Then cross it off the top row. In this way the same number can not be used again.
It is very easy to make simple errors with this kind of question, especially if it is rushed through so demand concentration and really accurate answers with no mistakes!
This page can be found in our Year 2 Money category.
