Year 3 maths weekly programme: week 6
This week we have published the last in this half term's weekly maths programme for Year 3. Many parents are finding this really useful as a backup to the work done in school, giving one or two pages each evening which usually do not take too long to complete, so there is still plenty of time for fun and relaxation! It also includes two sets of mental arithmetic questions.
This week we are aiming to:
1. Convert metric units (km to m)
2. Read and interpret calendars
3. Read and interpret scales
4. Sort data
5. Solve problems involving measurement
6. Interpret pictograms
The activities that follow are just a small sample of the wide selection we have available. If you feel more practice is needed there are many more similar pages in the Resource Browser under:
Year 3: Measuring and time
Year 3: Handling data
Year 3: Challenges
