Year 3 weekly programme: week 28
This week we have published a wide range of resources in our latest weekly programme for Year 3. We begin as always with a set of mental arithmetic questions concentrating on addition and doubling. Following this are the worksheets, starting with a couple of pages on describing number patterns and continuing the sequences. This is followed by pages on multiples, finding halves and quarters and fractions.
An important part of this week's programme is the work on right angles and turning in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction. Being able to recognise right angles is a first step towards recognising acute and obtuse angles and predicting the size of any angle.
Finally we round off with some shape work involving interlocking cubes and a quick round of addition of multiples of 100 questions.
