Weekly Maths Programme for Year 1 Our Year 1 Weekly Programme has proved to be very popular and we are pleased to announce that we have now upgraded it to meet the challenges of the new primary curriculum starting in September. The programme makes selecting the maths for the week so much easier and in the knowledge that all aspects of maths will be covered during the year. The aim is to provide a short sequence of backup materials to use at home, without being too lengthy and becoming a chore! There are 36 weeks in total. Of course, at any time you can dip into other resources as necessary. The first week looks at consolidating counting on and back with small numbers, finding ‘more than’ and ‘less than’, reading and writing numbers, understanding subtraction as well as a fun challenge to brush away all the cobwebs left over from the summer holiday!
