Reading thermometers in Year 2 and 4 For the first time reading thermometers has been introduced for children in year 2. Now, as counting back beyond zero is not introduced until year 4 it is important to keep temperature measurements at zero or above for children in year 2. We have just published four sets of worksheets concentrating on thermometers, looking at both reading scales and drawing in temperatures.
