Year 2: four rules practice
New for Year 2: four rules practice
Most of our Year 2 resources so far have been designed to provide practice on one specific topic, but life tends to be far more mixed up than this, so we have just published a new category of mixed questions, covering all of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on the same page. This is a really good way to see if children have grasped the concepts for each type of calculation.
Set 1 looks at:
Adding a single digit to a teen
Subtracting a single digit from a teen
Multiplying by 2
Dividing by 2
Set 2 looks at:
Adding 2 multiples of 10
Subtracting multiples of 10
Multiplying by 5
Dividing by 5
Set 3 looks at:
Adding a single digit to a 2-digit number
Subtracting a single digit from a 2-digit number
Multiplying by 10
Dividing by 10
Set 4 looks at:
Adding two 2-digit numbers (not crossing the tens boundary)
Subtracting two 2-digit numbers (not crossing the tens boundary)
Multiplying by 2, 5 and 10
Dividing by 2, 5 and 10
