Year 2 maths: missing operations We recently published a new Year 2 category called ‘Four Rules’ where we provided questions involving all four of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We have just added two further sets of worksheets on missing signs. All the numbers are provided and it is just the signs, or operations, that are missing. This is a good test of children’s ability, especially the second set where both the signs and numbers have to be chosen from a short list to reach the answers given. Missing signs are also a great favourite with the SAT question writers. It must also be remembered that whilst addition and multiplication can be done in any order, this is not true for subtraction and division. Go to Year 2 maths: missing operations
