Putting sentences in order For young children an important part of developing comprehension and writing skills is to be able to put events in the correct sequence. To help with this we have just published four sets of worksheets which look at ordering sentences. In each case there are four sentences to rewrite in the correct order. The themes are: Weather Cooking Gardening Holidays For some children it is a good idea to cut out the sentences so that they can move them around until the correct order is found. Others will be able to work in a logical way, find the first sentence and then work on from there.
