Year 4 fractions and decimals updated Year 4 is where the link between fractions and decimals is really developed and it is very important that children understand this link. We have just updated our fraction worksheets with different fonts and layout, to make them clearer for children to use, as well as adding two great new sets. Starting with recognising and showing equivalent fractions using diagrams, we also include finding pairs of fractions that total one whole one. We explain clearly how to recognise and write decimal equivalents of any number of tenths or hundredths, and writing fractions as decimals. There are further sets of worksheets on finding the effect of dividing 1-digit or 2-digit numbers by ten and one hundred, identifying the answers as units, tenths and hundredths as well as rounding decimals to the nearest whole one.
