Report writing
Report writing
We have just published our first set of planning sheets for helping children with report writing. The four topics are:
Car crash.
Have they got talent?
The mystery animal.
The trainers.
These four topics have been adapted from past Year 6 SAT papers, therefore are ideal for older children. Whilst there is no set format for report writing, the report should be systematic and include an introduction, a main body and a summary or conclusion, which will probably include recommendations. The planning sheets are geared towards helping with this organisation and would be excellent to use as homework or in the classroom.

As well as these reports we have also just added another planning sheet to help with writing about favourite meals which can be found in our Writing: Personal Experiences category. All of these planning sheets on personal Experiences are geared towards younger children and with 12 ideas in total they are an excellent resource.
