Year 2 more or less, including money
Year 2 more or less, including money
With over 180 pages our Year 2 Number and Place value worksheets are extensive but we have just added another set of pages. These involve ‘more or less’ with the nearest whole ten. The way they are set out means that children need to understand the <; (less than) sign and have a good knowledge of counting to at least 100.
The questions are set out in the form of ?? < 12 < ??; asking for the nearest whole ten below and above twelve:
10 < 12 < 20
On the same theme of ‘More’ we would like to draw your attention to three brand new sets of worksheets in the Year 2 Money category, which look at ‘How much more money?’ Children will need to count how much the coins in the box are worth and then draw more to make the totals shown. Excellent practice and can be used with cardboard or plastic coins, or even real coins: place the coins and count up as they go.
