KS2 Arithmetic Paper
KS2 Arithmetic Paper – plenty more new resources!
Our most recently published set of resources adds a considerable number of new pages to our Key Stage 2 SAT Paper Arithmetic resources. The 2016 tests and the new sample tests which were produced last year have been very carefully analysed and sets of questions written to match the questions on the test papers This gives children a great opportunity to practice those areas which they are less sure of.
We now have new sets of pages on:
• Written addition of decimals (4C2)
• Subtracting decimals from whole numbers (4C2)
• Multiplying three small numbers together ((4C6b)
• Multiplying drawing on known facts (5C6a)
• Multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1 000 (5C6b)
• Multiplying 2-digit numbers by 2-digits (5C7a)
• Multiplying 3-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers (6C7a)
• Multiplying 4-digit numbers by 2-digits (6C7a)
• Use known facts to divide (4C6b)
• Dividing a 3-digit number by a 1-digit number (5C7b)
• Divide drawing on known facts (5C6a)
• Order of operations (6C9)
The numbers in brackets are all referring to the National Curriculum, with the first digit being the Year group that the work is expected to be taught in. This is identical to the way the mark schemes show the structure of the tests. Notice that several of the sets refer to Year 4 work and many to Year 5 work.
Look out for plenty more resources for the Arithmetic Paper over the coming weeks and months as we aim to completely cover the tests.
