KS2 Maths SATs Booster: Reasoning: Number and Counting
The SAT writers love large numbers and the numbers seem to be getting bigger every year. A recent favourite has been to ask questions around the million mark. A typical example might be:
‘Write the number that is ten thousand more than one million.’
Perhaps not as easy as it sounds and to reach the very best scores possible children need a firm understanding of numbers around the million mark.
To help, we have a great new set of pages in our KS2 Booster section on just this, but don’t forget that we also have a huge range of number resources in our Year 5 and 6 categories which really ensure that children will have success with writing large numbers.
