Year 4 Maths Mastery Resources
Year 4 Maths Mastery Resources
Our next block of resources for the Year 4 Maths Mastery Programme cover length and perimeter. Whilst only a week is spent on this, two key objectives need to be met. Firstly, to measure and then calculate the perimeter of rectangular shapes or shapes made from a number of rectangles. The second is to convert between different metric units of length, such as kilometres to metres.

The majority of the second half of the term will be taken up with multiplication and division. The 6x, 7x, 9x, 11x and 12x tables need to be learned off by heart and we have plenty of resources to help with this. Don’t forget all our on-screen activities for learning tables are also available and we have included some great one-minute challenges in the Maths Mastery programme, but many more are available in the Year 4 Maths Games category.
Written methods of multiplication and division will be part of next term’s mastery resources.

The final week of the term is for consolidation and we have some great reasoning and problem solving activities to consolidate the work done this term. Well worth a look.
