Fantastic news for all those using a Maths Mastery approach: we are continuing to add to our selection of resources, including on-screen activities. We now have a whole selection of on-screen activities for the Year 1 Spring Term Block on adding and subtracting up to 20. Don’t forget we also have some great support materials in the form of worksheets for addition and subtraction followed by number and place value work within 50, including multiples of 2, 5 and 10.Division takes pride of place at the beginning of the Maths Mastery spring term in Year 2 followed by two weeks of work on statistics/graphs. Tally charts, bar graphs and pictograms are all covered during this time. The weeks leading up to half term are taken up with the properties of shapes, including recognising right angles and sorting shapes according to their properties.Year 3 Maths Mastery kicks off with multiplication and division, including the 3x, 4x and 8x tables, leading on to multiplying and dividing 2-digit numbers by 1-digit. Money then becomes the centre of attention, including writing money in pence and pounds and finding change. New on-screen activities are now available for money.Year 4 begins with multiplication and division and we have now included some on-screen activities to help with mental calculations, especially doubling. This is followed by a short block on area and perimeter. All these resources have been carefully selected from our main categories as perfect material to support the mastery approach, but don’t forget there are many more similar pages in our main categories. Even if you are not using the mastery approach but are looking for material to help your child I would thoroughly recommend using these pages; just one a day is ideal. And, don’t forget to use our super new on-screen activities to provide extra support and practice.Go to Maths Mastery Year 1 Spring TermGo to Maths Mastery Year 2 Spring TermGo to Maths Mastery Year 3 Spring TermGo to Maths Mastery Year 4 Spring Term
