Co-ordinates and Reflections in Year 5

Position and direction

In Year 5 children will be expected to identify, describe and represent the position of a shape following a reflection or translation. Understanding co-ordinates is vital in this understanding and we have just published three sets of worksheets on investigating co-ordinates and reflecting shapes in a mirror line – popular subjects in the SAT tests in a year’s time.
