Year 6 Unlimited Practice for Measurement and Statistics
Year 6 Unlimited Practice for Measurement and Statistics
New on-screen resources are now available for Year 6 for both measurement and statistics. The first measurement activity looks at word problems such as:
‘If 100 bags of sweets weigh 5.5 kg how much does one bag weigh?’
Answering these types of question needs a good understanding of the metric system, especially when answers are given in grams.
The second new activity is a straightforward revision exercise, looking at finding the perimeter of regular shapes and our third new resource considers the area of right angled triangles.
We also have three new games for Statistics:• Finding the range of a set of numbers• Finding the mean of a set of numbers• Interpreting line graphs.
Combined with our Statistics worksheets there is plenty to support children as they approach KS2 SATs.
