Word Classes in Upper KS2

Whilst much of the work on pronouns will have been covered in earlier years it is well worth going over the types of pronoun again in Years 5 or 6. They often come up in the KS2 SATs and it is very easy to forget just what they are. We have a straightforward summary of the types of pronoun and further work on personal, possessive and relative pronouns.We have also published new pages on identifying nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs in sentences, as well as conjunctions, prepositions and determiners. Plenty of grammatical terms to keep the brain active!
