New: Patron Saints
Every nation of the UK has its own patron saint. St Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland and St Andrew’s Day is celebrated on 30th November each year. He is also the patron saint of other countries including Greece, Romania and Ukraine. St Andrew wasn’t Scottish, he came from Galilee and he was a fisherman.
