A great new selection of pages which show the development in understanding perimeter in Year 3. The first looks at finding the perimeter of rectangles, drawn on centimetre squared paper. The second looks at more complex shapes, again drawn on squared paper making it easy to work out the perimeters. The third and fourth sets look at comparing perimeters and drawing perimeters of a given size. An important aspect of this work is that children understand that different shapes can have the same perimeter.
