Year 3 and 4: Pounds and Pence

In Year 3 plenty of work still needs to be done on a practical basis using a mixture of pounds and pence. At this stage children will use £ and p notation, rather than decimals. For example, £5 and 35p rather than £5.35.
We have just published 2 colour sets of worksheets on this, with the choice of using old coins or the new King Charles III coins. The decimal point is introduced later and consolidated in Year 4. Plenty of colourful coin pages are available for this, including new sets, just published.
