The on-screen activities get harder in Year 4, matching the National Curriculum Programme of Study. Remember, each activity is computer marked and printed results are available for most, making them really useful as short term assessments. They are organised into these categories:

• Rounding numbers: Rounding 3 and 4-digit numbers to the nearest ten or 100. One minute challenges also feature, challenging children to get as high a score as possible in one minute.

• Counting in multiples of 6, 7 and 9: Plenty of counting on and back in multiples of 6, 7 and 9, including numbers in the thousands.

• Counting in multiples of 25: Part of the National Curriculum Programme of Study, and a useful mental exercise.

• Finding 1,000 more or less: Finding 1,000 more or less than a 4-digit number, again including one minute challenges.
