We have more requests for pages involving word problems than any other topic. Whilst we have a large selection of these they can be harder to find than other topics. Often they are in the Reasoning/Problem Solving category, but many can also be found in the Addition/Subtraction/Multiplication/Division categories.

Our latest word problems have just been published in the Year 5 Subtraction category. They all involve large numbers: subtracting 4-digits or more from large numbers and a good understanding of the written method of subtraction is needed.
