Our latest resources for Year 2 use base 10 blocks, number grids and visual representations to help children find 10 more than and 10 less than 2-digit numbers. Children need to be confident with counting in multiples of 10 before trying these pages. If they are not, it would be well worth returning to counting on number lines in tens.

This is excellent practice for adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers in later years.
