Our latest resources for Year 5 look at using a fraction of an amount to find the whole amount. We start with using bar models to work out the whole number, which makes it clear that if they know one equal part they can use multiplication to find the whole amount.

The second set of worksheets takes this further with some tricky word problems, all of which require finding one equal part before finding the whole amount.
