Year 2: Movement and Turning

Describing position and movement is an important part of maths in Year 2. Great fun can be had with children giving instructions to move from one place to another, using terms such as forwards, backwards, left and right. We have just published some colourful pages recording the movement on a grid to get from one image to another, including avoiding obstacles.
