Lower KS2 Grammar: ‘ic’ suffix
Just published is a new set of pages looking at the suffix, ‘ic’.
When you add the suffix, ‘ic’ to a word it usually changes the word from a noun to an adjective. For example:
poet – poetic
or magnet – magnetic.
