Describing position and direction is a fun part of the summer term work for Year 2, as much can be done outside as well as working on paper. Our latest resources look at describing the position of objects using above, below, to the left of, to the right of and in between. These include moving items on a grid and completing grids of numbers. This is important practice before going on to moving objects forwards and backwards.
